NPP Projection Admin 2/14


To do this evening/ was completed: Uploaded keys for Kubo. Built playlists for Oscars Shorts (doc, live action and animation) and scheduled the week in the TMS. Fri-Sun on the cue sheets have been built. Playlist built and scheduled for Der Fan. R-rated trailer pack was updated (missing a few volume cues, different trailer for Cocaine Bear). 

Tech'd all of the shorts for the opening night program of NSF. Volumes have been logged and all of the content looks and sounds great.

We have a switch for the spots in T2 now, its on the wall right by the control board. There's two switches, one for the wash lights and one for the moving spotlights. Keep the wash turned on, and the moving lights off when we're not using them.

With all the new outlets in 4/6, I moved things around and got rid of the extension cord/power strip situation on the desk. We have more than enough outlets by the desk that we shouldn't have to use any extension cords or power strips. FYI the seat removal drill is now on the small rack, by the soundtrack iPad and the cable box, right below the furniture dolly that's hanging on the wall.

Waiting to hear from DHL about picking up Malkovich, if they get back to me tonight I'll let McKegg know so it can go on the cart. I told them we'd have it ready tomorrow (it's already packed up).

Print/video Inspection: We went through all the clips and light settings for Cruel Intentions tonight, everything is all set! Playlist has been updated with necessary macros, and I printed out a copy of the run of show and added the scene numbers for the spotlights. Ran through everything with McKegg, too.

Checked the DCP for the private event in T3 on Thursday. It's three short films with a 15 minute break in between each.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Filled in end times for Cruel Intentions tonight and the private event on Thursday, Remember when there are live elements to a special event (intros, Q&A, performance) the end time of the playlist on the TMS scheduler will not be accurate for the cue sheets!

Posters updated?: Took down EO outside and moved Avatar out there from the lobby. Put up 65 as a coming soon for now.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
