NPP Projection Report Fri. 2/17 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: Lillian was out today, I've added her to the paid sick leave calendar.

We got a new hard drive for the T1 workstation. It's the tiny SanDisk, which somehow has 2TB of space. I re-formatted it as a NTFS drive, so we can ingest directly from it. I purchased a license for the NTFS for Mac software, so we are all set up for making DCPs on this station.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Johnny Guitar DCP came in, it's been ingested to Theater 3.

Received Private Parts and Fatal Attraction prints, they've been placed in their respective booths.

I started ripping LaLa Land blu-ray, it will need to be put through HandBrake and converted to DCP.

Desmond handed off the Persepolis blu-ray to me, we'll convert this to DCP for the screenings the first weekend of March.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: We teched the Matinee Two program of shorts for NSF. Everything looks and sounds good! I put volumes down on the tech spreadsheet.

QC'd Kubo and both Oscar Shorts, they're all set!

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Something strange happened with the 1.78 masking cue in Theater 1. Jack mentioned this happened during the first NSF tech. The motor was not responding to the cue. All other cues worked, including ones that share the 1.78 button (3). I left the masking at 1.85 for the 1.78 shorts we watched, then after I checked the preset by pressing the button (which worked so it wasn't an issue where it got programmed over), the cue started working again, then stopped after a little bit. I power cycled the masking motor and that seemed to do the trick. Let me know if anyone has this issue again.

Set up extenders for CCAP in Theater 6. Worked like a charm, the USB transmitter now officially lives underneath the curtain in this theater.

Dusted in the Theater 3 & 4 Christies, and cleaned T4's radiator filter as well.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
