NPP Projection Report Tues. 2/21 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: I managed to download the remaining two film files for the No Budge program using Cyberduck. Give this a try if you're having trouble completing larger downloads through Chrome, I've had lots of luck with it. Started converting Sinking Sun to DCP and Sharlene's Problem is also open and ready to convert when that finishes on the Booth 1 Mac to the DCPIII drive. Remember we can ingest DCPs directly from this drive.

Converted the two slides for the engagement shoot tomorrow to DCP and ingested them to Theater 6.

Special Events/ AV set up: Set up a mic for tonight's intro in Theater 3 and left a mic stand under the curtain. The spotlight remote is in the box behind the curtain.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ripped the Persepolis blu-ray and put the file through HandBrake, this is ready to convert to DCP. Files are on the Booth 1 Mac.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): The Love Witch print is on the cart, John is taking it back tomorrow morning.

Print/video Inspection: We teched (most of) the No Budge shorts program for NSF. Everything looked and sounded good, although the first two shorts (Sinking Sun and I Fell in Love with the World) were scaled weirdly. For the former title, I rescaled it on DCP-o-matic to fill the 1.85 container, for the latter I put the film file through HandBrake to crop it to 4x3. I Fell in Love... has been newly converted and is ready to ingest and test with the rest of the shorts on Friday.

Ran through the private event playlist for tonight after adding the cues to switch the lens and masking to 1.90 for their shorts. This is good to go. I brought a mic and stand down for their intro/Q&A as well.

QC'd Poetic Justice for tonight, it's good to go.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
