NPP Projection 3/17 Close--3/18 Open - Jack



To do this evening/ was completed: Letters up for Shazam. Downloaded and ingested most of the upcoming preshow content. 3/24 Forecasts have not been uploaded to Drive, so I've held off on building playlists as the forecast is basically the only change to first runs. 4/6 swept.

Special Events/ AV set up: The Fugitive in T1 had to be canceled around the 30% into reel two. It was around this point that the lamp on P1 turned itself off. I killed sound and stopped the motor and eventually found the keys to the back of the lamphouse residing in 4/6. Powercycled the rectifier to no avail. Attempted this a few more times with no luck, then eventually turned the wheel above the rectifier to the left slightly, which seemed to do the trick. The lamp came back on, but soon enough shut off again. Went through this process a few more times, stopping and starting the show, until MOD decided to call it and cancel the screening. Reels one and two have been rewound and are ready for tomorrow's show in T4. Transferred Secret of Kells to T1 and swapped all Sunday shows in each theater (T1's shows will run in T4, T4's shows in T1). Cue sheet updated.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
