To do this evening/ was completed: We are receiving the Star Wars: A New Hope blu-ray tomorrow from Amazon, it's for an event on the 28th. Be on the look out and rip/convert once it arrives.

Monday-Thursday can be scheduled and end times filled in on the cue sheets.

Finish inspecting Eternal Sunshine.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Downloaded/ingested John Wick preshow clips, the 25min Ghibli, Dungeons & Dragons, and the Spring 23 welcome/feature snipes. I also reingested our Space themed preshow, this is for the Star Wars event.

Built John Wick, A Good Person, Spirited Away, Matilda (with and without intro slide), and Terms of Endearment playlists.

Scheduled the week's staff screenings, we're doing one of Spirited Away in Theater 4 in addition to the new first run movies.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Set up a mic for the live intro in Theater 4 last night. Also ran loops on both projectors, focus and framing are good to go. This is McKegg's first solo print show, he's had tons of practice and is definitely ready but still wishing him luck!

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Eternal Sunshine print came.

Received and ingested Terms of Endearment.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Inspected the first three reels of Eternal Sunshine, pretty much a perfect print.

I checked the Vigilante DCP again and determined it was definitely a DCP issue. Talked with Lillian and I think that because the sync issue doesn't become fully apparent until about 7-8 minutes into the movie this was missed during the tech. It just so happens this was the first time ever that this DCP screened, and the distributor confirmed it was indeed an issue with the DCP today. Lillian and I were talking about a system for catching stuff like this in the future, it's tricky as we can often rely on DCPs to not have any problems themselves (it's likely something will have screened before and any problems noted/addressed then) though in cases like this where we get a DCP that's not from a major studio I think it's a good idea to do a more thorough spot check.

Looked at the Black Eye DCP with Cristina, it's from a DVD rip and you can tell. Resolution definitely not great but since there's nothing else and its for Shouting at the Screen, we're rolling with it.
