Projection Admin 3/17 Alec & Lillian



To do this evening/ was completed: Alec ran The Fugitive and Breathless for Cristina. I brought up the video intro and alternative ending for Breathless. Adjusted volume in the playlist. 

Received loads of KimTech wipes. I opened one box, which is next to the unopened box at the bottom of he black supplies station. 

Still waiting on the keys for John Wick. As per usual, this'll come pretty close to the screening date. 
T4 scan get swept.

Got the labels printed out and it's been sent on its way. Tracking info has been sent to the distro and to Cristina. 

Print/video Inspection: Alec checked out Spirited Away and got it prepped. 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Received tracking for the Virgin Suicides. On the Asset doc. 

Maintenance/cleaning: Alec reached out to DMS about the hdmi port on the projector and did some trouble shooting. 

Cleaned loads. Cleared out the lamphouses and overall projection area in T4. Some internal parts had not been maintained in a really long time. Vacuumed, scraped, washed, etc. I found two boxes lamps that had previously been installed, wedged in the lamphouses! Nuts. Said they were installed in 04 and 05...when we were the Pavilion. I'm just about done with the cleaning process on both to install new lamps and realign.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
