Projection Admin 3/20 (Lillian & Jack)



To do this evening/ was completed: Cristina wants to tech the Black Eye DCP in T2 tomorrow. This has been ingested into T2 and is ready to go. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Started building the 3/24 playlists, Jack took over and finished them out. 

Updated the 'R' rated first run trailer pack since the other first run packs have no changes-- we can keep these going for this upcoming week. 

Downloaded and ingested the Jumanji trailer. 
Downloaded and ingested the new Forecasts for 3/24. 

Trailer Updates: Ingested Beau trailer again since the Flat version had trouble ingesting. 

Tech'd Fast X, Kirsten, Beau is Afraid and Jumanji. Volume has been noted on the white board 

Special Events/ AV set up: Reached out to Chenelle about our private events this week. The first on Wednesday has yet to be confirmed as far as content goes, and the second on Thursday will most likely be Ant Man or Shazam, which will be easy to get up and rolling for them. 

Kim from NewFest reached out about the event we'll be hosting on May 9th. I let her know that we'd like to receive that DCP (ideally) two weeks in advance so we can ingest and tech with ample time to make sure whoever needs to be there can be there. Since they're still working on the file, it'll likely be a week, so I asked they send a downloadable link and provide a copy of the DCP on an external drive as backup. That might be overkill, but it's always good to ask. 

Tech'd both Eternal Sunshine slides and Matilda slide in T1. Also tech'd The Hunger slide in T2. 

We landed on Purple wash for the first Eternal Sunshine slide, Orange for the Q&A. 

No wash for Matilda since it's already super intense with that yellow background. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received Matilda thru Eclairplay. This will need volume checked. 

Got keys for Puss in Boots, Shazam, A Good Person

Holy Mountain will be done transcoding by 8pm and can get ingested in T5. 

Reached out to Deluxe about Terms of Endearment, which should have tracking on Deluxe by 9pm this evening. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): The Fugitive got out...hehehehe

Print/video Inspection: Ran Spirited Away for Desmond this morning! Noted volume on the note card for the print. 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: received tracking for Ronin and confirmation for other prints to be delivered in the coming months. My emails are starred for those, but the tracking for Ronin is not yet live but in the asset doc. 

Maintenance/cleaning: Will is going to sweep this evening in T1 since I noticed quite a bit of debris...maybe after Roger was here? Fugitive was also a rather wild print.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
