Projection Close 3/25

To do this evening/ was completed: Full house tonight, super busy. John Wick 4 is really drawing out a crowd.

I took a look around the projectors in 4/6, where Jack saw the flash/pop thing from last night. Didn't find anything out of the ordinary, but I'll continue to look. I did smell something toxic around P1 not long ago, so there could've been a fuse issue, or something that leaked and caused a reaction, but I haven't seen anything just yet.  The rectifiers are never on in T6, which is a good thing.

As Alec mentioned, we've got a new bulb on the way. Neither of us heard back from Roger, who is pretty much swamped with work right now, so that makes sense! No harm though, I'm really grateful for that Interlight website. We pretty much matched it with the model in P2 (an Osram), since P1 had a Philips, which is an older model. Fingers crossed this comes Monday, but Tuesday would be fine. Alec got the fastest shipping possible...

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist:

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Took out one of those 3 attached seat sections in T2 for wheelchair access. Put it back after the show.

Computer is running slow and acting up, but, I'm trying to copy Get It Back and Heaven Stood Still to the 4/6 desktop. Both are on the True Blue drive.

Print/video Inspection: Spent a good chunk of time inspecting Ronin. This was definitely plattered, most of the shipping reels it came on are quite dirty and sticky. The print itself is in pretty great condition, despite some residue, debris, dirt built up along the edges. There's a pretty nasty base scratch at the beginning of R1. It doesn't last terribly long. There's bits of what I think is just marker ( not grease pen) where the c/o cue is on R2 and the same on R3. Overall, this is a 1998 Kodak print (you guys know how I feel about late 90's/early 2000s prints...big heart eyes), which means the color is amazing and the overall image should look pretty nice.
