NPP Projection Report 4/19 Admin

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built and checked the playlist for the private event tonight.

Built Shouting at the Screen, Stepfather, NoBudge, Highlander 2, and both Doc n' Roll playlists. Please check the Shouting at the Screen playlist tomorrow, I built in a transition between the DVI/HDMI channel and DCP so want to make sure it's smooth. Highlander 2 needs its intro slide. NoBudge volume and masking cues need to be added, not sure where these were written down.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Set up mics in Theater 3 and Theater 4 for tonight. The mic in Theater 3 doesn't need to be broken down tonight, we have the Film Feast intro in there tomorrow.

I brought the Ronin print up to 4/6 and ran a bit in Theater 4 to check volume and sound format. Confirming we should play this in Dolby A. I also switched back and forth between a reel of Corpo Celeste to check the volume for that when played in SR and check if there were any sound dropouts. There were none, think this was a penthouse reader issue. No Dolby Digital in Theater 4 for now.

Ran loops for tonight and set the framing slightly higher than normal for the subtitles.

Shouting at the Screen is pretty much set up for tomorrow, mics and speakers are all set, levels checked. Mixer and speakers just need to be turned on (and of course the mics brought to the back of the room, I made sure the cables are long enough). I checked the slideshow, too, we can't use the Google Sheets version as the transitions didn't carry over. The one we downloaded works on Keynote, I left it open on the Projection laptop. Just so you're all aware, I switched the channel input over to DVI-A, which the HDMI cable is currently connected to. It works great.

Print/video Inspection: QC'd Kiki's Delivery Service for this weekend, it's good to go.

Maintenance/cleaning: I checked out the left rear surround speaker in Theater 6, there is definitely a low buzz/hum however faint. I think it just needs a new cone, we don't have to replace the speaker entirely. We have replacement cones, I'll switch them out on Friday.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Filled in cues for special events tomorrow through next Thursday, just need to fill in when the Doc n' Roll Q&As will end when that info is on the memo.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
