Projection Admin 4/10 Lillian



To do this evening/ was completed: Tomorrow Cristina would like to take a look at the presentation for Shouting at the Screen. I tested the HDMI cable in T2 today. The port had a green light, but it went out when I connected the adapter for the laptop. I would do the Aja set up we have in T1 for this, but who knows, it could be working tomorrow. I attached a DVI to HDMI adapter to the board in T2. 

Saw that Jack noted in his blog an issue with the lamp turning off and having to finagle with the power again. I think we just need new power supply units at this point. Two things: the 9 pin that connects the unit was a little loose, didn't have any pin screws to fully secure it, but it was connected nonetheless. Same thing for P2. I couldn't find any pin screws that yielded a perfect fit, but I made two work, so it's a little tighter now. Gave this a good clean, too. I turned on the rectifier for a little while, then turned on the lamp as per usual for a show. After more than 40 mins, the lamp didn't turn off. One thing about getting new power supply units is that they are wildly expensive, like, 3 to 4 grand for the ones we need. More on this later...

Ingested the keys for Good Person and Shazam. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): I brought down Blue Velvet this morning since it had not been brought down the previous evening. Make sure to double check outgoing notes, folks.

Print/video Inspection: Will inspected White Chicks...another Warner Bros shipping disaster. The print itself is in great condition, sans the annoying spooling of reels in the cans (they were shipped with old tape attached, small in length too). This print also came with its head and tail bits n bobs not attached. This isn't uncommon but it's not courteous. 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Reached out to Roger for a piece I need regarding the speed control for T2. Took it apart some more for further inspection. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. Checked today and the rest of this week til thurs.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
