NPP Projection Blog 5/16 Closing (McKegg with Special Guest Appearance by Alec)



To do this evening/ was completed: What could've been a stressful night with Matrix ended up being a pretty nice shift overall

Special Events/ AV set up: Matrix Reloaded went the best it could have gone given the circumstances! Alec was here to work some magic with the threading while I stood by for changeovers and to toss the lights up in between reels. Turnaround was incredibly quick, I should have timed it. Everything's broken down! 

Trivia in Trees also went smoothly. I put everything back into the DJ Box, including the DJ Key.

Print/video Inspection: I finished the post inspection of Cool World and that is fully boxed up

I started a Matrix Reloaded post inspection and just the last reel needs to be put on its original shipping reel. Otherwise it's good to go!

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): I filled out the cue sheets for next week, including the OCAP screenings. All we need is some special and private event, You Hurt My Feelings, and Little Mermaid timing.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
