Projection Admin 5/17 Productive day Alec & Lil

To do this evening/ was completed: Hi everyone - please respond as soon as you can to Alec's email for the June Schedule. 

 note ~ keys for Fast X open up tomorrow. Keys for Last Unicorn open on Friday. Cristina sent an invite to check out Raw Deal on Friday. 

Had our cinema meeting! We'll finish up the Academy paperwork by Friday. 

Around 3:30, the AC unit in 4/6 started beeping off and on, in 2 minute or so intervals, which would change the temp. It leaped from 62 to 69 to 65. I checked in with MOD and they had a technician come round to adjust the settings on the pad downstairs, so it might've been that. Nothing to worry about right now, really. I don't think it'll go past 69. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built and scheduled the playlist for Last Unicorn. Volume/feature can get properly tech'd on Friday. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Staff screening of Spider Man 2 will be in T1. It's ingested. 

Please ingest Five Devils trailer to TMS once it's done transcoding (DCPII drive). 

We're to receive a BluRay of Total Recall today, which will likely come later this evening. Host is dropping it off. Keep an ear out for its arrival, please.

Set up two mics and put two chairs off to the side in T3 for Buck Alamo this evening. All you gotta do is turn up the master volume. The remote for the lights is, as always, in the box behind the curtain. 

Set up 1 mic in T6 for the hosts intro for Gremlins 2. All you have to do is turn on the mixer and give him the spots remote. I moved the equipment in T4 over to T6 (one mixer, one xlr for the wall, one xlr for the mic, one power strip.) If you don't have time this evening, one of us can do it tomorrow.

All mics for this evening have been tested. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Emailed with the folks who are presenting/distributing Past Lives for the special event on 5/24. Sent them our certs for T1. They reached out to Deluxe and we should receive tracking soon! 

Received Harriet the Spy, received and ingested KDMs for Renfield, Fast X, AYTG

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Brought Cool World down. This should get picked up this evening- let me know if it doesn't! 

Print/video Inspection: Prints that can be inspected: Raw Deal (do first) Driver 23, then Harriet the Spy.

Alec continued to work on the platter system. 

Received the new power source from Roger! We think it's working pretty well. Hard to do many tests at the moment since we got it just as we were opening. 

New projection cart got built today! We might have to adjust the wheels, but it's working just fine. It's been labeled. 

Went to go replace the APC for the main rack in 4/6 when I noticed it's a different model, which is most likely a stronger power supply. Sent the info to DMS, so hopefully we'll get a new one stat. I used the last APC to replace the old one in T2-which as we'd expected-was at the end of its lifespan. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes! Added the last bits for Gremlins 2 this evening, checked in on the file and built the playlist out. Adjusted info for Buck Alamo - reached out to MOD about the change. Adjusted the Smithereens show for tomorrow since the Q&A is at the end instead of right before. Added the info for this Saturday/Sunday showings of Last Unicorn.
