Projection Admin 5/29



To do this evening/ was completed: Hawks w/Babies screening tomorrow in T2. Checked the make sure the playlist was set and scheduled--we're all good. 

Seat out in T4 for second round (Guardians). Screw are on the desk in 4/6. I couldn't find our cordless screwdrivers anywhere, but turns out there was one in T4 already and two by the MOD station. I brought one back to the 4/6 booth to charge, brought another downstairs to 3/7 and kept the third at the MOD station so we're covered in all areas. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Deleted both Harriet the Spy playlists from the TMS.

Built the playlist for the June 5th private of The Little Mermaid. 

Built the June 2nd private for The Little Mermaid. 

Built the playlist for But I'm A Cheerleader. There's no event memo for this, so I reached out to Desmond just to confirm. We don't have a slide. 

Built the Rocky Horror playlist--this still needs the feature, which we have yet to receive. No update on Deluxe. We'll probably get this delivered in the next few days.

Trailer Updates: We need to check and/or just confirm volume for the following trailers: Pretty sure these are 4.0

TMNT 
Haunted Mansion

Special Events/ AV set up: Reached out to Chenelle about the private events we have coming up. She'll drop off the School of Rock BluRay at some point tomorrow. Content for the June 7th private has yet to be confirmed. 

Started transcoding the DCP of Black Samson -- T1 comp. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Reached out to Deluxe about the KDM for Super Mario Brothers since this expires by the start time on Wednesday. I cc'd Jeffrey on all emails. I went to check all the features we've got and a good chunk of KDMs will expire this Friday (Are You There, God?, Beau is Afraid, Dungeons, Fast X, Guardians, Master Gardener...). 

Reached out to Cristina/John about the Rabid DCP. Found it in the KDM email (from AGFA). Downloaded it to the DCPII drive. This is currently unzipping--please ingest directly to T2 once it's done.

Maintenance/cleaning: Set the lenses/plates for this evening's show of Nighthawks. P1 is fine, but I'd run a loop on P2 before the show. There's twenty minutes of turnaround time.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
