Special Events/ AV set up: We received (and ingested) the KDMs for the two episodes of The Other Two for the NewFestxHBO event tomorrow evening. They will be active from 5pm to 10pm. They also forgot to put the disclaimer in the DCP of the first ep, so they sent it separately to be played before the first episode. I ingested this and adjusted the playlist accordingly! All set for tomorrow. PLEASE double check the event memo and check that disclaimer file tomorrow morning just to make sure there's nothing funky about it (file is HBOInPersonDisclaimer. Also, we talked about this the day of tech and they're fine without a masking preset--both episodes are just shy of 1.78, and I imagine the disclaimer might be, too...but if you want to make a preset, go for it. 

Cool World (35m) will be in T1 instead of T4 due to tickets selling fast. I wrote the update on the white board. I started on the playlist for this (it's been saved) but please add the TRL_SE_BCB_2023 to it. It'll be on the drive tomorrow EOD.

School screening of Wakanda Forever was great.

Photoshoot in T6 went just fine today.

I ingested Flashdance to T1 directly. Rental is on 5/13. 

Another FYI - The Gremlins 2 rental has been updated and will screen on 5/17. This is still on the DCPIII drive in T1, so closer to the date we'll ingest it since it's T6 (storage).

Maintenance/cleaning: Cleaned the T4 projectors and ran loops for this evening. Adjusted the scope lens on P2. Looked slightly off kilter.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
