NPP Projection Report 6/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed: Kept an eye on manual starts throughout the evening and corresponded with the MODs to know when to start the pre-show to each screening

Presentation Issues: Touched base with Lillian about the flickering in T1; potential ballast issue but the bulb readout for the moment is healthy

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built show playlists for 6/23 for Transformers: Rise of the Beasts and Asteroid City (CCAP version only); all PG show playlists, with the exception of Elemental, were built this afternoon and Past Lives still needs a trailer to be uploaded/downloaded for its pack that is not yet available on the shared drive (see below)

Trailer Updates: I mistakenly thought the "Satirical States" trailer elements were available for download on the shared drive but these were saved in the "Do Not Ingest" folder

Special Events/ AV set up: Eliel very graciously set up and broke down the turntable for the brunch club event this afternoon 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): I downloaded the 5.1 OCAP feature file for Asteroid City (the 7.1 was not available for this file on EclairPlay) and a 7.1 CCAP feature file which was not on the TMS despite the 5.1 being present there -- note: the OCAP file was downloaded successfully but I cannot find it in the content overview tab; I am not sure where this got stored in the TMS following its download

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: The last couple reels of Woman on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown were rewound and brought down to booth 1 for tomorrow's screening 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Cross referenced with the scheduled show playlists on the TMS and all showtimes are accurate; the final rounds in T3 and T6, Past Lives and The Flash, respectively, were not scheduled so I added them to the TMS

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. SE screenings went smoothly. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
