NPP Projection Report 6/21 Close

To do this evening/ was completed: A leak coming from the A/C in booth 2 got through the ceiling and onto some of the seats in the back row; MODs radioed me about this and we went to the booth to look it over. I messaged Alec about potentially turning the A/C unit off in order to slow the progress of the leak and he suggested this could work since it was coming from the condenser. I asked the MODs to turn the unit off after opening a window in the booth and have been monitoring the leak for the time being

Update: The leak has slowed considerably (time is now around 8PM) but I will continue to check in on the unit throughout the evening

Update 2: Checked again around 9PM and the leak stop altogether; I left the window closest to the door open to help ventilate the space which had grown warmer but not too hot

Update 3: Per the email correspondence between Matthew and the MODs we are going to keep the A/C unit off overnight to avoid any further leaks/water damage but I will keep the window open until morning to allow for further ventilation of the booth 

Presentation Issues: Minor delays for a few pre-shows from the overlap/manual starts

Print/video Inspection: Finished inspecting The God of Cookery in T1 and filled out the print inspection report; the print is in good condition despite having quite a few splices and scratches throughout each reel

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Cross referenced the cue sheets for tomorrow against the TMS schedule and everything checks out

Marquee updated?: Removed Transformers 7 and added letters for Asteroid City

Posters updated?: Replaced Elemental in the lobby with Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part 1 under a coming soon snipe and took down Transformers 7 to make room for Elemental outside

Cleaning lights on for the night?: Yes

Projection cart by entrance?: Yes

Additional Notes: I am seeing readouts for Sensor Failure Alarms coming from projectors 1 (LampLOC X and Z sensor fail) and 2 (LampLOC X sensor fail) but this has yet to have any affect on playback

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
