NPP Projection Report 6/25 Close

To do this evening/ was completed: Continued monitoring T2 throughout the afternoon and, despite an X sensor failure alarm, the projector is at a healthy temperature level even with the booth being as warm as it is (there is a small blue floor fan plugged in and that has been running all day to keep the machine cool)

Update: Checked the booth again before leaving -- temperature feels the same as before -- the floor fan is working and I will leave it running overnight

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Updated the Tetsuo show playlist and adjusted its credit offset information on the cue sheets accordingly; lights down cue was in the wrong place in the 6/23 Elemental show playlist and had to be moved up (lights did not go down when they should have during the penultimate round in T7)

Trailer Updates:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Theater Camp posters were delivered and stored behind 3/7

Print/video Inspection: Spent the majority of the evening inspecting Bamboozled in T4 (the print is in excellent condition) and wound all reels back onto their shipping reels; uploaded stills to the shared drive and tagged Conrad and Desmond

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): A bit of confusion regarding the final round in T4 this evening since Asteroid City was scheduled at 10PM on the TMS even though the final round in this room was Past Lives at 7:30PM; the necessary adjustments were made and Past Lives was played as scheduled

Double checked the rest of the cues for tomorrow and everything is set (there is one manual start in T2 that has already been noted)

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
