Projection Admin 6/15



To do this evening/ was completed: Hey projectionists! We've got a big week ahead of us. We open up with Elemental today and, as I'm sure you're all aware of by now, there were some scheduling mishaps with showtimes/overlap with this feature. In a lucky turn of events, today's showtimes for Elemental are perfectly fine, but starting tomorrow we're going to be knee deep in manual starts. I'll send a proper email out tomorrow morning detailing the changes for the week ahead and how we'll be able to keep our feature  presentations successful. Matthew, Paul and I went over the 6/16 - 6/22 schedule this morning and I filled out the rest of it on the cue sheets today (things will look a little different to what we're used to). Besides all things Elemental, it is crucial that everyone checks both the blog and the event calendar to double check special events info including our regular weekly events such as Trivia and Karaoke. Unless something is urgent that needs tending to right away, this should be the first thing you do upon arrival, along with checking the cue sheets/TMS.

Note: Reminder for T6 that we cannot ingest whilst playing and that all scheduled content on the TMS will automatically ingest 72hrs in advance, which is what happened yesterday -- playlist was scheduled for Saturday. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: I built new playlists for Elemental including a special trailer pack. (As mentioned above, I will detail the changes in an email very, very soon). The playlists we already made are only being used just for today since there happens to be no scheduling challenges. I will get rid of the old playlists tomorrow morning. 

Built and scheduled a Hawks with Babies screening of The Little Mermaid for this upcoming Tuesday. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Spoke to Paul about the private event for his friend on 6/19. This will be in theatre 5. No preshow details or start time just yet, but all content has been ingested. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested new keys for Spiderverse and Little Mermaid. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes! Added some more titles and the tracking info for Twister and Bamboozled, I believe these will arrive at the same time. 

Maintenance/cleaning: Deleted old playlists for past private events. Deleted SE Mommie Dearest and Watermelon Woman 

Left some notes down for checking SE events this week and will pass along more info tonight if I get it. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes! All good to go for today but please continue to check. More info on cue sheets in the first section of this blog...

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
