Projection Admin 6/22



To do this evening/ was completed: Hey projectionists (welcome back, JC!) just so y'all know, the leak was definitely due to the AC unit being faulty, so it's off. Also, we're supposed to get rain pretty for, regrettably, the next week or something like that, so I'm keeping the windows closed. Jack is updated on out T6/T1/T2 shortcomings with the lamp/storage issues. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: I went through all the playlists we have for 6/23 to make sure the forecasts are correct. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Multiple Maniacs should be a great show. I went through the playlist this morning and then went over Alec's notes with Jack. Pretty simple setup with the laptop, headphone jack, etc. Just need to make sure those wash cues are all set. I built the intro playlist in VLC (silent bits are definitely there). I've asked Jack to just check in with Desmond beforehand to make sure they're on the same page with run of show. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received Indiana Jones. Downloaded via Deluxe. Both the OCAP and CCAP 7.1 files are now on the TMS. I'll take a look at this tomorrow. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Received out air cans! I've put the loose cans in T4/6 and put a box of new ones in T1. 

Set up the platter in T1 so Jack could take a look at it without running it this evening. I think it's good to just get an idea of what it looks like when it's all set but stationary, that way you can memorize it and feel the parts. We went over the basics (some of which I added to the manual in regard to guide rollers depending on which deck you're using), and the automation console. 

Matthew and John brought over some of the platter parts from WB. It's the same model as T1's platter, so we'll use it as backup for Oppenheimer. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes! Double checked today and tomorrow (plus rest of week). I let Paul know we'll update him more on SE stuff/Indiana tomorrow.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
