Projection Admin 6/26 Lillian and Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Friendly reminder: we have to make sure the walkie is on us starting 1hr before we open.

T1 and T6 continue to run smoothly. DMS comes through tomorrow...more on that later.

TMS can continue to get scheduled. I'm holding off on scheduling anything that hasn't already been ingested to T6 while we're running, so please don't do that til the morning. I'm sure it'd be fine, but very slow, and it's usually on the slow side in all theatres whilst running anyway.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Downloaded Generic_Summer preshow content. Downloading Indiana Jones preshow content (comp is slow. needs to be restarted) please continue checking in on this/downloading and ingesting.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Ran Night of the Comet for Cristina this morning. Info has been noted on a white card attached to the print! It's not in the best condition, but it's decent. It'll be fun.

In conversation with Jeff (filmmaker) for Blue Sunshine. He'll be sending us the DCP of his film.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Safe in Hell comes Wednesday! Asset doc updated.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): DHL will be picking up Shanghai Express tomorrow, between 9am and 3pm. This can get put on the black cart downstairs.

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: T1 ~ swapped out the 1.37 lenses for 1.85. Changed the plates. Cleaned projectors.

Took Will through one of the threading sequences for the platter, ran it, then we went through the threading changes again (different deck) and ran again. Will did the set up himself the second time round. he took extra photos just for himself which I'm encouraging us to do since I think everyone kinda fancies having their own references, too, since one bit might be more difficult than another and vice verse depending on who ya are. Will did a really good job retaining the pattern. Once everyone gets the pattern(s) down, we'll talk more about showmanship/automation.

Platter continues to work just fine!

Had a look on multiple websites for those platter covers, to no avail. I left Roger a message this morning to see if he has a lead/emailed a few other folks (Fred at MoMI might have some since they have tons of equipment in storage/not in use for platter). I know for a fact they have covers at Angelika, but it's likely they'll be using them for their own Oppenheimer run.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. Checked today and tomorrow.

Marquee updated?:

Posters updated?:

Cleaning lights on for the night?:
