NPP Projection Close 6/12

To do this evening/ was completed: Made the usual rounds throughout the evening and took note of picture and sound (Mission: Impossible could use a slight increase in volume, especially once the crowds get larger over the weekend in the bigger auditoriums); manual start for the final round in T6

Special Events/ AV set up: Midsommar FilmFeast in T3 ran very smoothly; set up for karaoke at Trees Lounge (there were multiple complaints about volume levels during this so I brought the master volume on the panel by the bar entrance down which seemed to be in conflict with whoever kept raising the gain/volume on the mixer) 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): A Folded Ocean DCP was copied to the DCPIII drive and was ingested to T2 (Mulan is on the drive as well and can be ingested to T6 tomorrow for the private event on the 17th)

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
