NPP Projection Report 7/14 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: Added the bottom guide roller to the Th4 platter tree, so it's complete now. Made up some test film on the bottom deck in Th1, which I will move up to Th4 before doors tomorrow. Didn't get a chance before doors today.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Added the credit offset for Blue Sunshine.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received the Truman Show and Hollywood Shuffle prints, they are in the appropriate booths.

I reached out to Brad from Film-Tech to get an ETA for the Oppenheimer print, he said it will arrive on Tuesday and tracking would follow soon.

Unzipped the Living End DCP and ingested it to Th4. Let's look at this soon even though the screening is a bit of a ways off since we had some trouble with the download.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Cristina and I looked at the Twister print and Blue Sunshine DCP, both look and sound great!

Checked Muppets Take Manhattan, looks/sounds great, and is adorable.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Added tracking for Badlands and Lethal Weapon 4, both are coming next Friday.

Maintenance/cleaning: I cleaned up the inside of the Th1 and Th2 Christies. 2 was really dirty but I cleaned it as best as I could.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Entered timing for Muppets, Twister, and Blue Sunshine.

Marquee updated?: Took down Bamboozled and put up Blue Sunshine with Q&A... on the north side of the marquee.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
