NPP Projection Report 7/25 Admin/Double 35mm/Close - Alec & Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Oppenheimer shows in T1 continue to run very smoothly. No issues today. (Will)

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Downloaded and ingested the Love on the Run trailer and added it to the PG-13 trailer pack for this week.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Cleaned P1 in T1 along with the platter deck, brain, and rollers. Threaded Oppenheimer for the 5:30. I had to motor ahead a bit farther than usual to make sure all the guide rollers were in a good position, so open the heat shield/changeover quickly after starting the motor.

Scheduled the show playlist for Embarrassment for tomorrow evening and built and scheduled a private Oppenheimer show playlist too. (Will)

Runaway went very well!

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested Last Action Hero to Theater 2.

Ingested TMNT to the TMS.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Reinspected & packed up Safe and printed out labels. Scheduled for pickup tomorrow.

Reinspected Runaway and packed it up, too. This one gets picked up by a Sony courier, we can reach out to Sony tomorrow to arrange.

Print/video Inspection: Checked the Timecop trailer and Runaway with Cristina for tonight, volumes set and the projectors are good to go. Mic is ready to go, too.

Inspected Badlands and filled out an inspection report/uploaded stills to the shared drive. (Will)

Put At Close Range and Hollywood Shuffle on house reels.

Also teched E.T. with Desmond. Looks really really great. We also teched Hollywood Shuffle and the Red Eye DCP. Both are good! Volumes noted for everything.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: I talked to Roger about the CP500 in 1 not recognizing the motor turning on on projector 2. He said this will only affect changeovers when playing Dolby Digital, and gave me a better idea of what to look for. I'll keep looking at it but for now a workaround would be to change the sound format to SR right before making a changeover to projector 2, then switching back to Digital after making the changeover and shutting off the projector 1 motor. Doing this should prevent any of the tail/countdown from being heard in the theater. But I should hopefully be able to figure it out before E.T. this weekend.

TMS crashed around 6PM but the network connection returned to normal after a few minutes. No shows were disturbed. (Will)

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Entered the 13 Going on 30 private on Thursday

Marquee updated?:

Posters updated?:

Cleaning lights on for the night?: Yes

Projection cart by entrance?:

Additional Notes: A guest asked for a closed captioning device for the 5:30 Oppenheimer but, because the 35mm does not support this, we could not accommodate them. I think it is worth printing a notice with this information for display in the lobby to avoid further inconveniencing anyone who may want to see the print but who does not realize CCAP and descriptive audio are not paired with it.
