To do this evening/ was completed: Hey everyone! PLEASE remember to practice your threading and to run the platter (try to not leave it threaded up). Double check that everything looks correct. Oppenheimer is right around the corner and it will sneak up on us. Everyone must have their threading down so we can shift focus to showmanship and other aspects of automation once the print arrives. Thank you! 

We're looking great on content ~ we've got everything we need for the next week. Muppets KDM opens up Friday, so we'll tech then. 

CCAPs working in Th1 again, the ethernet from the extender had been moved from the corresponding port in the booth, probably when we were troubleshooting the HDMI after it died again in there. I labeled the port it should be plugged into. -Alec


Cleaned the port window and lens for the Christie in booth 2. -Alec


Went around to all the houses and checked 2.00 (for Barbie) and 2.20 (for Oppenheimer) masking settings and lens macros. These are all set. Heads up I had to overwrite the 1.66 masking setting in Theaters 3 & 7 to re-program 2.20. Doubt we will need it before the end of the Oppenheimer run, but we can overwrite 1.37 if we need to. -Alec


I ran an auto LampLOC adjustment on the Theater 1 Christie, the light was uneven with shadows in the bottom corners of the screen which were quite prominent with the (mostly white) alignment test DCP up on screen. The auto adjust improved the distribution of light greatly. -Alec


Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Blue Sunshine, which we'll tech on Friday, with Cristina, along with Twister.

Ingested two sets of preshows for NoBudge #34 and Blue Sunshine: Generic Shorts/Generic 420 content. 

Trailer Updates: We have all trailers needed for the next week of content. 

Special Events/ AV set up: Tested Midsommar this morning, adjusted masking to best fit 2:1. Two mics are ready to go for the event this evening. Level is already set on the mixer/mics are up. 

NEW DCP of A Folded Ocean is transcoding in T1 (will be on the desktop once complete). I checked the original file we were given and noticed that at about 9 min in, the image freezes but the file plays. I made sure the new file we were given made it past that point without issue. Please transfer the DCP to the DCPIII drive and then ingest. Desmond and I will take a look tomorrow morning. This is the last short that needs to be tech'd, so after we do that we can build out the playlist. 

For the private of The Office episodes tomorrow, Alec has some notes for the run of show in T6 where the breakers are. I'll let Alec add more here! 

Teched the Office episodes for the private event in Th6 tomorrow. We will stream these off of Peacock. There are some notes taped to the Th6 breaker box, right next to the rack. The rack PC is connected to the projector and the sound processor: Blu-Ray FLAT Zoom on the projector and Non-Sync on the processor. We still need to figure out the Peacock account we’re going to use (I used a friends to check the episodes), we’ll use Chenelle’s if the host doesn’t provide one. -Alec

Maintenance/cleaning: Swapped out the 1.37 lenses/plates for 1.85 in T4 in preparation for Bamboozled tomorrow. Ran loops on each, adjusted the masking (port glass). Will double check presentation tomorrow morning. 
Spoke to Roger. We'll likely install the lamps ourselves and then have him come on in to make any needed adjustments. 
I printed out a few images of the platter and taped them up in the booth where the other platter papers are. There's an image of the brain threading, second deck and top deck, along with a few notes.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
