Alec's notes:

Lots to report today, mostly good.

The Simplexes in Theater 6 are ready to run for tonight. There are almost exactly the same as the Williamsburg machines (although different lamp houses), though with a couple small quirks which I made sure to point out to McKegg. He is in very good shape for this evening. There is a mic set up under the curtain in 6, and I left a second mic by the Christie in the booth to connect to the mixer between rounds (using 2 mics for the intro).

Projector 1 is still leaking oil a little bit though it’s nowhere near as bad as it was when I got in today. The gasket on the back cover wasn’t great, so I took a cover off a Th2 Simplex and used that. Improved the leak very much but it’s not completely gone, though the print is not at risk of getting dirty tonight and the machine will continue to run fine. Roger recommended a sealant which we can apply to the original cover to stop the leak, I ordered it on Amazon. Should be here tomorrow, I’ll seal the original cover. After that we should not run the motor for two days.

Roger fixed the motor start issue with projector 2 and the CP500 in Theater 1. I was mistaken about the issue being the wiring to the back of the processor, there was some wiring for a relay in the projector (underneath the lamp house, where the power supply lives) which also needed to be soldered. He soldered that wiring to the back of the processor which had come undone, as well.

Roger brought a power supply for Theater 4, though he mistakenly brought the bigger one, which we use for Theater 1. The good news is he has the smaller ones, too, and is going to be back in Brooklyn on Thursday and will drop one off then. It'll be new, so we can just plug it in and be good to go. We're keeping Fearless in 6 though since we already made the switch and changed people's tickets.

The Theater 3 server lost connection to the projector this morning. I immediately resat the board and notified DMS, and the server lost connection 30 minutes after I powered the projector on again. Eventually I was able to get the server running again by hitting the recessed Reset button on the PIB, the server stayed connected and we managed to screen the 3pm TMNT for some guests who didn’t see the email about the cancellation. DMS was working on sending someone over with a backup, but I told them I have the server up and running for tonight and asked if they could have someone out here tomorrow (I’m certain this will just keep happening), still waiting to hear back. For now I am turning off the scheduler for Th3 so the projector/server doesn’t turn off tonight. Since it always loses connection 30 minutes after power up if it stays on tonight we should still be fine for tomorrow if DMS isn’t able to send someone.

To do this evening/ was completed: Finished inspecting Speed Racer, stills uploaded to Drive, Conrad notified.

Uploaded the Material Issue Q&A to Drive as well, event went very smoothly. Chairs and mics put back to their respective places afterward, Trees laptop setup broken down as well.

Put Badlands back on house reels in T1.

Made T6-specific playlists as well as the remaining specialty playlists and scheduled the week in TMS.

Oldboy ingested and built.

Paddington coming to us on a physical drive, keep an eye out.

Sundays on Fire print, We're Going to Eat You, arrived. Inspected four of the five reels and the trailer reel as well. The print is in ok condition--every reel looks pretty faded and pink to me. Lots of splices and tape on the first few reels of the feature but should run fine.'

Got a look at how to reset the Christie's IMB and PIB should the situation happen again - Jack
