NPP Projection Close 8/24

To do this evening/ was completed: Added to the dry erase board in 4/6 with first run and special event titles through the month of September

Presentation Issues:

Trailer Updates: 

Special Events/ AV set up: Barbie private event in theater 6 went smoothly (a seat was removed for one of the party guests and put back after the show)

Marie Antoinette finished running through DCP-o-matic and was saved to the DCPIII drive; the drive is on the desktop in 4/6 and the content can be ingested closer to the event date

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Content from the drives in theaters 2 and 3 (Like Water for Chocolate and First Slam Dunk) finished ingesting and were brought back up to 4/6

Feature content for The Mitchells vs. the Machines became available this evening and was ingested to the TMS (CCAP version only; playlist has yet to be built and still needs 9/1 forecast content)

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Swept up around the 4/6 booths

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Double checked against the TMS; information for tomorrow is accurate

Posters updated?: Added Gran Turismo to the archives poster case behind 3/7 and added a "coming soon" snipe above its poster on display outside

Additional Notes: Our closed captioning devices could really use some sort of overhaul as we only have three in the maintenance closet on the third floor of which only two are functional (the other does not have its mount properly attached to it but still receives signals from the booth transmitters)

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
