NPP Projection 9/17 Open



To do this evening/ was completed: Came in to find T3 IMB connection lost. Restarted the power on the projector and the IMB went down thirty minutes later. First two rounds in T3 canceled. Lillian was around and she ended up re-seating the IMB which resolved the issue for now. We ran content for a few hours with no issue. But DMS will have to come back to investigate further. Alec, if we can review reseating the IMB on Tuesday that would be very helpful.

The Dark Knight went very smoothly. I rewound the film back onto shipping reels--reels 1-4 heads out and once I realized it would be faster to leave them tails out I did that for reels 5-7.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
