Projection Admin 9/18

To do this evening/ was completed: Hi team. Another friendly reminder to keep downloading NewFest shorts/features! I know there's still quite a few we haven't received yet, but keep an eye out for new links in the template and don't forget to say "download complete" in the last tab. We should be getting the film schedule today. Please check for any preshow content we don't have downloaded yet or that we're waiting on. TMS will need to be scheduled, too. 

Note: today we received 6 bins of headphones for the 32 Sounds event on Thursday. Will and I brought these up. They're in 4/6 by the T6 projectors. 

Today I downloaded and ingested the following NewFest shorts: 

Crary Lake Boats and Floats
AC Unit
How To Carry Water
I Identify As Me
Gold and Mud

Presentation Issues: Noticed the picture in T1 flickering again during the first round of Bottoms. Ran a full white test pattern between rounds and confirmed it was there. Jack took a look and confirmed too. - WB

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Adjusted the playlist for First Slam Dunk. Updated the cue sheet. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Ran through the last two shorts in the Industrial Musicals playlist to make sure they're in order. Everything looks and sounds great! 4.0 might be a better volume than 4.5...I think 4.5 might be too loud, but the host can confirm what he'd like on the day.

Will inspected the belts to the projectors in T1 and ran loops for Prince of Darkness.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Emailed Deluxe for the keys to Death Becomes Her. These will arrive tomorrow!

Ingested new keys for TMNT

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Created a shipment for and insured the Fear of Black Hat print as per the owner's request. This goes out tonight! Will got the labels on and put it on the black cart.

Maintenance/cleaning: Cleaned the lamp house in T4. Installed the new lamp, which looks great. I'll take another look Wednesday to double check focus, but it's nice n bright. 

Will cleaned the T3/7 booth, cleaned the projectors in T1 and organized the posters (started a new archive tube so please keep adding to this as we open first run titles!!!).

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
