NPP Projection Admin 10/11



To do this evening/ was completed: Took down the 35mm letters and put up NewFest letters on the marquee--I couldn't find a dash or a period so there's just a little bit of punctuation currently missing. 

Cleaned the 35mm projectors in T4, ran loops focus and framing set. Mic set up as well, all good to go.

Reached out to Cristina about returning the Love Witch print, it will be returned to Oscilloscope via hand-delivery at some point.

Transferred more shorts from the TMS to T1--mostly shorts for the Afternoon Delirium program. All content should be on the correct servers at this point.

Downloaded the new version of Lucky Fish and sent it to T1. Kim wants to look at this tomorrow due to V1's audio channels getting a bit mixed up. The new version includes "20231011" in its file name.

Downloaded the trailer for The Killer. The 10/06 R-rated trailer pack can simply be updated with this trailer come Friday, instead of making a new pack and updating all playlists individually.

Ran through the NewFest playlists I tech'd yesterday for a second time and ran into the same issue: the NewVoices playlist rewinds itself once it hits the 1.78 lens and mask cue after Where Do We Go From Here? It rewinds itself to about the 55 minute mark. I really don't know what's causing that. All of the content that comes after that cue we checked individually yesterday and there were no issues with the individual pieces.

We received CRU drives for Coraline and Indiana Jones: The Last Crusade. Indiana has been locally ingested to T2, but Coraline can't be ingested yet as the T1 server is almost at maximum capacity. I deleted some features and preshow content but it's still almost completely full (94% after removing content). Something to look at this week.

Ingested Generic_Halloween preshow content and built the playlist for Brooklyn Horror's Kill Your Lover, this should get tech'd tomorrow. 

I did not see Desmond's note about the T3 spots not working until after doors opened for round one in that theater, which is to say that will have to be investigated either tomorrow or Friday. I imagine it's just a battery replacement.

Cristina dropped off a drive containing Scream Blacula Scream. This should be ingested tonight to T2--we'll be looking at it Friday.

Started a download for the second version of The Year Long Boulder. Can be ingested to T1 tonight provided there's enough space.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
