NPP Projection Report 10/21 Open



To do this evening/ was completed: Indiana Jones had not been checked it seems, though the keys were active yesterday. There was no lights up cue for the credits, even though this information is almost always given when we receive the DCP as well as with the keys so we don't need to wait until we tech it to build that cue into the playlist. I added the lights up cue to the playlist for tomorrow.

NewFest marquee can come down tonight and be replaced with a few 35mm titles.

Presentation Issues: The IMB connection issue seems to have moved to Theater 7 after the servers were swapped. Connection to the projector went down 30 minutes after it powered on. I was prepping for the NewFest screening and there was some setup for the brunch in Trees so I didn't notice right away, but I had time to try power cycling before the first preshow. Unfortunately, this didn't work and the connection went down again after 30 minutes. Ended up alerting MODs to cancel the first round. I then resat the IMB and when I got it back on and re-married, the connection held up and after about an hour I told MODs we were good to keep the rest of the day's shows in 7 open. I disabled the scheduler, so this projector/server won't power down overnight so we should be good for now. I reached out to DMS to begin the process of replacing this server. Lillian, would you mind bumping them on Monday if we don't hear anything? It's the weekend so my message might get buried and I'm back in on Tuesday.

Print/video Inspection: Checked Coraline for tomorrow, updated volume and lights for credits in the playlist. Once again, we almost always get the credit offset for DCPs with the ingest letter when we receive the DCP (attached to the email notification) as well as on the email with the KDMs. These are reliable, I've never had one be incorrect. Please use this to build the light cue into playlist and double check when teching.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
