Projection Admin 10/18



To do this evening/ was completed: Hey team - just a friendly reminder to check to make sure all NewFest playlists have the right amount of preshow. It's been longer than normal (typically 45min) which is all info available on the event memo. 
* Went through both NewFest playlists with Desmond today - Chestnut looks and sounds great as does Gods and Monsters. Preshow and slides are good to go! 
* Tech'd The Haunting and The Witches in T1. Sound has been noted for both features - on the white card. Reels are rewound. 
*I reached out to Kim about getting a new KDM for Something You Said Last Night since we had those servers swapped in 3/7 and the old KDM won't work anymore. I sent them our new certs for the projector. Kim will updated us as soon as possible. 
*Staff screenings are out - all on the calendar for theatre blocking. Lots of shows. 
*Kat sent a slide to put before Taylor Swift so that patrons know to be mindful os servers (lots of dancing happening). Per Kat's request, I put this in each playlist for 10/13 and 10/20 after the policy. I made separate trailer packs for T-Swift. Everything's updated. 
*FYI - Our pass word expired for Deluxe expired so I made a new one (which you can find in the Notes app on the 4/6 comp) though the website login page seems to have updated itself and suddenly did not accept the new password as it did before, so we have to wait until tomorrow to login again (this is fine. we have everything we need from it).

Special Events/ AV set up: Mic/stand is up and tested.. Wireless mics will be used this eve for T1. Stuck around to help with the NewFest kick off tonight. Everything is still running smoothly.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Chased down a bunch of KDMs. Please flag anything on the TMS that reads as unavailable or about to expire. We're all updated on Anatomy, Eras Tour, Haunting in Venice, Paw Patrol, The Creator, etc. We finally got the keys to Killers of the Flower Moon! Bumped Jeffrey about Indiana Jones since they're also on hold.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
