Projection Admin 10/23

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. So just to update you on T7, we've been talking to DMS this morning about what to do for a permanent solution. They're suggesting we replace the server with our old (and newly repaired server), but Alec and I are making sure that they've tested this in house and have properly fixed the issue before proceeding (remember the connection issues we had in T1? it's that one), so if not, we'll find get another IMS. I ran content in T7 this morning to make sure it'd hold for the rest of the day, which it did. Please let me know if you have any issues this evening. - L

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Checked and the NH logo slide wasn't added to the Hayseed playlist for the Q&A portion of the event. Adjusted the playlist. Made some adjustments to the Shouting at the Screen playlist. Built playlist for Museum of Home Video. Started building the Book of Shadows playlist, just need the slide. Reached out to Cristina. Just as a reminder: bunch of stuff for preshow should be available on the drive this evening, including the HubbaHubba preshow. Keep an eye out for it! Thanks! - L

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Microphone are set in T4. Spotlight remote is right by the mics under the curtain. Double check with Chenelle to see if they want chairs or if they want to stand. It says 2 chairs in the first part of the event memo, but not in the second.  We'll also need a seat removed for this. Seat #4301 reminder is on the white board above the 4/6 desk. - L

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Anyone But You one sheets were delivered and stored in the poster cubby behind 3/7 - WB

Ordering/Receiving (content): Downloaded all generic "Vampire" pre-show elements to the Preshow & Trailers drive, Dogs, and SciFi_PG13 pre-shows still need to be uploaded to the shared drive and downloaded for the upcoming week) - WB 

^ Vampire preshow and generic SciFi have been ingested to the TMS. Cristina sent the link to the powerpoint presentation (intro) for Shouting, which I have on the laptop, but we can also just open up the link once the time comes. - L

Maintenance/cleaning: Ran loops in T1 this morning. All set for The Haunting tonight! Should be a great show. Keep an eye on your focus, but don't worry about it too much or try to over adjust, this is just a soft one. - L

Gave the T4 projectors a hearty clean today. I hadn't checked these out fully since returning and noticed a lot of build up. A few things to remember: be sure to check the bands and clean these before and after every show. Also, notice the amount of oil/dirt that clings to the back of walls and other features in the projector (notably beneath the gate). It's hugely important we remember to clean these spots. I've noticed that these parts tend to get neglected a bit. - L

On another note, we received a bunch more KimTech wipes and a 2024 calendar. 


Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Double checked all showtimes against the TMS schedule for the rest of the week + made adjustments as needed (end credit offset information for The Killer can be added once the pre-show content for this title comes in and the playlists are scheduled) - WB

Marquee updated?: Removed Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and added letters for Hayseed tonight, which can get removed tomorrow morning or late this evening. This was a last minute marquee rental. - L
