Projection Admin 10/24



To do this evening/ was completed: TMS has been scheduled (few bits need going over: we don't have Priscilla yet, but we do have The Holdovers and The Killer which still need their playlists built.) I made the cue sheets (titles are done/audio/captions) and I started filling in the times, but this can get tackled more this evening. - L

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Made a few playlists into T6 specific playlists for the this upcoming week. - L

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Microphone all set for Final Destination 2 this eve. I put the spotlight remote right on the mixer. The 1/4" to xlr cable(s) are in Trees behind the pew for this evening's DJ. I put a 1/8" behind there too, on the off chance someone needs it. - L

Checked the laptop connection in Theater 2 for the Shouting at the Screen slideshow intro, it's all set. Plugged the remote in to charge in 4/6. Wireless mics are also set up under the curtain. Will test them on the PA speakers tomorrow. -AL

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Made the slide for Excess Baggage. This is on the DCPII drive. Can get ingested with the following. 
Started downloaded the Halloween_V1.2 preshow content. 5min preshow for this still needs to get downloaded as well as the Hubba Hubba preshow/Holdovers 5min, which is now on the Drive as of this afternoon! This is a lot of preshow. I can do whats left tomorrow morn since it's easier to do this during the AM sometimes.

Print/video Inspection: Tech'd Blair Witch 2 in T1 with Cristina. Print looks great! Volume and info on the white card attached to the first reel. Reel has been rewound. - L

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Ran loops and checked in on the projectors in T4 for tonight. - L

Replaced the intake filter on the T3 Christie. -AL

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Double checked today's sheet against the TMS.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
