NPP Projection Admin 11/16



To do this evening/ was completed: Tech'd Dream Scenario and Trolls playlists. Both features have been brought up to 6.5 volume. Trailers have been updated to mostly 5.0 volume (Ferrari, Iron Claw). Fall Feature brought up to 4.5. 

Looked at Shrek--sounds good at 7.0. Credit offset noted, playlist built (AllAgesV6 preshow) and scheduled.

In-house trailers double-checked, volumes updated on whiteboard.

New NoBudge slide converted and ingested.

Keys open for Streetcar tomorrow, same for Tyrone. 

The Holiday ingested to T2.

Five Nights at Freddy's ends tonight--content can go after that.

Napoleon preshow looks great and sounds good at our regular 3.5 vol! 

Presentation Issues: Tackling Plex...playing off the tv at the moment. Troubleshooting as best we can.

Special Events/ AV set up: Recoiled the xlr cable in T4 for this evening. Just as we went over this morning - please remember to recoil these so that they're in good shape and don't look a mess. Spots remote is on the mixer. L

Ordering/Receiving (content): Liased with HBO reps today about the Going To Mars feature. This has been delivered/ingested to the TMS. KDMs will follow shortly. I'll be getting me eyes on this come Monday when the window opens. L
KDM/Content delivery for How To Have Sex screener will be coming in soon, too. Screener is on 12/08. L 
Sent tech specs/overall info to the rep for the 12/05 private. L
Got my eyes on Volcano (teching tomorrow but just wanted to make sure everything looked alright in advance)

Maintenance/cleaning: Ran two reels of Lola in T4, checked in on P2 in particular and made some slight adjustments with the alignments. Both reels have been rewound. Film looks great and should be an excellent show. Please remember to turn off the processor/projectors once the show is done! Went over a few points about the show tonight with Will. - L

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes! All checked. Should be a great evening.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
