NPP Projection Report 11/25 Open


To do this evening/ was completed: Went to check Shadow of a Doubt this morning and couldn't get into Splashtop on my phone (the laptop was dead from not being plugged in, please plug the charger in when you're not using it), because the password was changed. Ended up resetting it again, updated the passwords doc (under the "TECH" tab), but it's N1t3h@wk188. If you reset this please add the new password to that doc and note in your blog it's been changed. Feature was too quiet at 5.0, I changed it to 6.0. Mono DCPs usually always need to be played louder than our other features. 1.33 lens channel is fine.

Chicken Run needed a bump, too. Raised it to 6.5 in tomorrow's playlist.

When making inspection reports on the drive don't just put them in the 2023 folder, put them in the folder for the month the film is screening in. I made the folders for 2024.

Poor Things posters should be on the way per Disney. Boy & the Heron, Aquaman, Color Purple are still pending on IMoxie.

Ordering/Receiving (content): The replacement Lethal Weapon print came.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): FedEx picked up Buffalo 66 when dropping off Lethal Weapon, so I canceled the pickup that was scheduled for Monday.

Print/video Inspection: Desmond had some specific print picture requests for Seconds so I took those and sent them. Also checked footage markings on the reels 5&6 "leader" and they were fine but I added a 10 foot marker since I like to use that to frame up and then advance to 9. Checked the footage markings on all reels, too. Mostly fine although some were off on reel 2 so I redid those, although the 9 foot marker was correct on this reel.

Inspected the first reel of the second Lethal Weapon print we got. So far, so good. No bits of missing soundtrack. Looks like an uncut print. The inspection form is distinguished from the first one by the print ID, which is "MAS1."

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
