To do this evening/ was completed: Hey everyone quick note: For all features that overlap (manual starts) it's been suggested that we automate them as soon as the previous feature ends but keep cleaning lights on until we're given the cue to knock it back down to preshow, this in place of just waiting for them to give us the cue to start the playlist. - All manual starts in T4 this evening! FYI

Got the 11/24 content from Kat today. Matthew is going to get the film schedule out early - keep an eye out for it. First run playlists can definitely get built. See notes below!

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: KDMs are now active for Street Car/ Tyrone. Got my eyes on both. Made a few adjustments. All set for this weekend. 

Downloaded and ingested the rest of the content we'll need for the Volcano screening on 11/27! Slides/TikTok video are all set. Looked at the music videos and feature film (plus the tiktok/slides) with Desmond today to get volume and check image. This is going to be super fun. Playlist has been built.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Built the playlist for the private event (The Marvels) this upcoming Tuesday in T6. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received the print of Raising Cain today. This is in T1 - ready for inspection. 

Received The Hudsucker Proxy - in T4/6. Can get inspected. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Packaged up Lola, got shipped out today. 

Print/video Inspection: Ran the first reel of Buffalo 66 with Desmond in T1. Volume has been noted on the white info card. 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes. Updated today to reflect changes. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes

Maintenance: Trash is out in T4/6. 

Checked the speaker levels in T7. MODs said this house was very loud compared to the others. Sounds good after lowering each channel a bit, and balanced. Listened to a feature, trailer, and preshow. -AL

Had a call with DMS today. They updated us about the situation in 3, 6, and 7. We should be getting a new IMS for 7. The projector from 3 will likely be reinstalled, though they are testing it (and the IMS they have of ours which was pulled from 1) now. Pending the results of that test, the IMS will be brought back to replace the loaner in 6, or we will get a replacement if they find it faulty. -AL

Had our meeting with Roger from CTS. Working on getting the ball moving on 70mm. We now have a better idea of what equipment to salvage and what to get rid of. More on this soon as we wait on some quotes/install updates. - L

Marquee updated?:

Posters updated?: Took down The Killer and Five Nights at Freddy's. Please stay on top of poster/marquee updates. Jared walkied me that these were still up after opening. They should have come down (and titles struck from the marquee) last night. We are also in dire need of coming soon posters. I had to put up Dune 2, which releases in March, because there was nothing else. I ordered Boy and the Heron (again, we never got them), Aquaman, and Color Purple from IMoxie. -AL

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
