Projection Close 11/19



To do this evening/ was completed: Hey everyone. If there's something on Kat's trailer list that we don't have or looks different in an A1 playlist, please be sure to reach out with any questions so that all necessary adjustments can be made for the shows to be correct. In this case, it was the PG preshow/trailer pack info for Trolls that was not accurate with her list. I adjusted the trailer pack, downloaded and ingested the old PSA_Policy_Horror. Waiting on the How To Order (Godzilla). Emailed projection at WB/Kat. We'll get this sorted. 

One more reminder: Please remember to make sure you're putting your print reports in the subsection, 2023, in the Inspection Reports folder. Thank you!

Print/video Inspection: Inspected all of The Long Kiss Goodnight. Report is up and (perhaps too many) photos have been uploaded to the drive! 

Also inspected reels 1 - 4 of  The Hudsucker Proxy and, just as the above, report thus far is available as well as the photos. 2 more reels of this left - can get finished up tomorrow!

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Updated 35mm titles received, marked Chicken Run as DCP and ingested. 

Maintenance/cleaning: Deleted a bunch of print pics we don't need from Photos App. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Checked and adjusted. Took HI out of the captions info for Bad Lieutenant this Monday, added offset information for Buffalo 66.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
