To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: "LampLOC board communication failure" alarm was active in theater 4 but this has not been a hindrance to any of the shows this afternoon (must be akin to the issue Alec detailed in his blog a few days ago with this same projector) + "sensor failure" alarms in theater 1 and 2

Print/video Inspection: Tested the show playlist for The Color Purple in theater 2; it looks great and sounds just fine at 5.0 (lots of loud musical numbers throughout carry the mix quite a bit)

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Reset the sound rack connected to the iPad in 4/6 this afternoon after some troubleshooting since the Soundtrack application was running but no audio could be heard throughout the building; tried to recreate some of the fixes Jack attempted last night before deciding to hard reboot the system and power off/on the source panels beside the desktop which got things working normally once again 

Swept around 4/6 this afternoon

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes + cross referenced the website for open captions screenings tomorrow afternoon

Marquee updated?: Removed Dream Scenario and It's A Wonderful Life and added letters for Ferrari and The Color Purple in addition to When Harry Met Sally on the brunch side

Posters updated?: Removed Dream Scenario and Killers of the Flower Moon from outside and replaced them with Ferrari and The Color Purple + added Dune Part 2 and Kung Fu Panda 4 to the lobby cases since we do not have any of the more recent upcoming first run titles in our stock of one sheets (no one was in the office at VisionMedia to take orders for these releases so we will have to wait until after the holiday to place them)

Took some time this morning to reorganize the poster cubby + moved lots of unused first run one sheets to the trivia section and added more recent feature posters to the archive tube

Additional Notes: Please stop leaving empty cups/mugs and plates and/or silverware lying around the booths -- found a bowl with caked over pieces of food in it lying atop the workbench in 4/6 earlier this morning -- this is gross and inconsiderate

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
