NPP Projection Close 12/7

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: Checked on T3's speakers throughout the evening to note any further issue with static and/or crackling coming from the right rear surround monitor

Brought the volume for Renaissance down a bit this evening to keep from having any noise complaints from customers in adjacent theaters

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Brought the feature volume cue for Renaissance down from 6.0 to 5.8 for next week's SPLs since even with near sold out crowds the bass during the performances can be heard very easily throughout certain parts of the building

Built all SPLs for Wonka (this includes additional SPLs for playback in T6)

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Killers of the Flower Moon Apple TV event in T5 wrapped up this evening with very little fanfare and the hosts cleared out before the final round began

STB setup in T1 this evening went smoothly (had to adjust individual mic volumes from the processor in the booth ever so slightly/the hosts adjusted for minor distortion via the mixer) and the event began on schedule + put all gear away and returned booth 1 items after the show ended

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Additional one sheets for The Boy and the Heron and The Iron Claw were delivered and stored behind 3/7 in addition to new posters for Godzilla x Kong (threw away lots of poster cases that had been piling up beside the cubby + added new titles to the laminated sheet on the workbench)

Ordering/Receiving (content): Uploaded and ingested keys for Beyond Utopia and ingested all pre-show content for Wonka 

Downloaded and ingested pre-show content for Poor Things (the custom 25min and 5min files to be exact) but we are still waiting on the "PS_SE_GreatGowns_15min" file to be uploaded to the drive

Ingested trailers for Garfield, Inside Out 2, and The Zone of Interest for future trailer packs (also built PG packs for the week of 12/15)

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Keys for How to Have Sex went live at midnight and the screener SPL was tech'd following the final round in T4 (updated the feature volume cue and added a "feature presentation" stinger to set a house lights down cue too -- looks and sounds great)

Marquee updated?: Removed Priscilla and added letters for The Boy and the Heron

Posters updated?: Added a "now showing" snipe above the poster for The Boy and the Heron

Projection cart by entrance?: The projection cart has been hijacked by the construction crew and is currently being stored by the MOD office with their tools on it


Additional Notes: Wonka content information was added to the first run whiteboard in 4/6

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
