NPP Projection Report 12/15 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: Had another meeting with BLS about installing 70mm in Theater 2 today. More info to come but the goal right now is to have it installed for Dune 2 in March.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Ingested the new 12/22 forecasts, which we'll be using for the week of the 22nd and the week of the 29th, and the Bobby's World preshow.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): We got Furiosa posters.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested It's a Wonderful Life to T1.

Mean Streets and Hi Mom prints arrived.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Ran a reel of Hudsucker Proxy for Cristina, despite some lightly visible dirt/residue along the left side of the frame, the print looks good. Volume has been noted.

Checked Elf and Maniac Cop 2 DCPs. Playlists updated with the necessary cues for both. The "bonus content" on Elf is just two short WB 100th anniversary clips at the beginning.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: I tightened the focus knobs on both T4 Century's a bit. P1's was especially loose.

FYI, didn't have the motor switch issue on P1 in T4 today.

I changed the lamp in the T4 Christie.

Cleaned the T4 Century's for tomorrow, and also wiped down the casing around the gate and cleared some of the dust build up out.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
