Projection Close 12/17



To do this evening/ was completed: Renaissance was still loud during the actual concert bits. A few guests complained about the some of the speakers' behaviour, so I checked in on levels. The movie was just mixed in a pretty silly way. 

Checked in on the wire in T1 as Matthew pointed out. I'll get it properly patched up tomorrow. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Waiting on American Fiction preshow content, but the feature is in. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Double checked the T6 private event playlist for Boy n the Heron.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Checked out Deluxe inventory - Still waiting on Iron Claw, but preshow content is ready to go. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): 

Print/video Inspection: Re-inspected The Hudsucker Proxy and put the head leader back on R2 - it was essentially a clean cut. Labels are ready. This will get picked up Tuesday. 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes. 

Maintenance/cleaning: At a glance, nothing out of the ordinary with the T4 projectors. Freak accidents happen as one did with Jack earlier today. I'm going to run some test film tomorrow and check in on the tension when I can get full light on the machines during the morning.  

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. Checked this evening and tomorrow.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
