NPP Projection Admin 1/30



To do this evening/ was completed: Ran loops in T1, frame and focus set. Projectors cleaned afterward.

Built T4 and T6-specific playlists and scheduled the coming week in the TMS. Built new columns for new titles in the first run formulas tab, cue sheets themselves have yet to be built.

Ran through 32 Sounds setup with Jonah and John. We took the DVI adapter from T2 and brought it to T1 for the show. Tech went smoothly.

DCP'd Cristina's slide for Don't Tell Her It's Me. The image looks a bit stretched but not so bad.

Continued downloading and ingesting NSF shorts, tech spreadsheet updated.

HBO content was downloaded and ingested to TMS.

Was not able to download PS_FR_Argylle_5min. Please do so if you have time and add it to Argylle playlists.

Noticed a Paddington DCP got ingested to T6 presumably for the private event on the 7th. Is this DCP Paddington 1 or Paddington 2? Name says just "Paddington." They're watching the second one on the 7th. I ripped the blu-ray and the file is going through HandBrake now, in case we need a DCP. AL

Downloading the DCP of To Kill a Tiger. Going on to the DCPIII drive on the booth 1 iMac. AL

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Taxi Driver and The Fan prints will get picked up tomorrow when the Sony courier drops off Sense and Sensibility.

Print/video Inspection: Inspected all of Car Wash, it's a very nice print, probably pretty new. AL

Maintenance/cleaning: Noticed this during The Fan last night but the pops and clicks from the T1 speakers had not gone away. When I listened to a few things this morning they seemed to be happening even more frequently than before (although during The Fan it only happened a handful of times). Based on a few things I determined this was probably an issue with the CP750. Had a feeling we had a spare lying around and found it in 4/6, on those shelves in the crawlspace. I swapped this in in Theater 1 and it sounded good after that. None of the files that were giving me pops/clicks every few seconds were giving any at all. Had to reconfigure the IP address to get the automation to work but now it will work just like we're used to. AL

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
