NPP Projection Close 1/19



To do this evening/ was completed: No issues in T7 this evening.

Built all 1/26 playlists, including Raging Bull, Magnificent Obsession, The Fan and The Deer Hunter. 

Cleared all 1/12 content from servers.

Went through the upload logs in T7 IMS to check for Poor Things, as Lillian had mentioned re-uploading a lot of keys today. They were already on the server, having been uploaded previously, but I uploaded them once more just in case. Loaded the show playlist via TMS, no issues.

Downloaded the new file of Thomasine and Bushrod that Cristina sent over. It's pretty low resolution so I haven't put it in DCPoMatic yet, waiting on her response.

Double-checked tomorrow's SE playlists, those are good to go.

**Last round tomorrow night in T3, Zone of Interest, is scheduled in the IMS even though the previous playlist overlaps with it by a minute. The screening is labeled as a manual start on the cue sheet but I just wanted to give a heads up that it is technically scheduled on the server.

Patron asked we turn up Mean Girls in T1. It did sound like it could use a little more volume so I bumped to 7.0 and updated playlists.

**T2 shutdown pack was scheduled for 12:19 am, even though Mean Girls playlist doesn't conclude until 12:23. Not sure how both playlists can be scheduled to overlap each other like that but I updated the shutdown time.

Presentation Issues: MOD walkie'd to inform me that the lights were still up in T4 (round three) during the feature. They also told me that the trailers had apparently been skipped. Checked the T4 Iron Claw playlist and it had been built improperly, with no trailer pack included and a DCPShowEnd pack placed before the feature. I updated the playlist with the right sequencing. What's peculiar about this is that the previous round in T4 featured the same playlist, and the lights were down during the feature. I asked Julianna about this and she said the trailers and PSA played as they should before the movie started. I double-checked the rest of the T4-specific playlists and found American Fiction and Iron Claw OCAP had a similar issue: DCPShowEnd placed before the feature, trailer pack missing. Updated.

Another small TMS curiosity: When you go the playback tab and go to T4, you cannot scroll through the whole of the playlist to look at cues/sequencing like you can with other server pages in that tab. Not much of an issue but just a little odd.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
