NPP Projection Close 1/28

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: 

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Mean Girls sounded very loud at 6.5 (with a smaller crowd + during the musical sequences) so I brought the volume in the SPLs down to 5.5

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Kept the NFL playoffs programming on at Trees through the evening until both games concluded 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Airplane! was ingested to the TMS and transferred to theater 6 for the private event on Saturday (deleted this from the TMS once the transfer to 6 was complete)

Continued downloading and converting NSF24 shorts content to DCP and saved all files to the NSF-NPP hard drive

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: No leaks in booth 2 this evening despite the inclement weather

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Double checked the cue sheets for tomorrow against the schedule tab on the TMS and the website + initialed the cues for confirmation

Marquee updated?: Added letters for Blazing Saddles and Sense & Sensibility to the brunch side

Posters updated?: Added older first run posters to the trivia section

Cleaning lights on for the night?: Yes

Projection cart by entrance?: Yes

Additional Notes: An order of walkie headsets was delivered this evening but I left these in the MOD office since I was not sure whether or not they were intended for us as a box of earpieces is in 4/6 with a label for return on it

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built a show playlist for Interstellar (all this needs is a volume cue which can be added once the film is tech'd) Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Taking Off screening in theater 1 went really well Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Jawbreaker keys were downloaded and ingested Downloaded and ingested the "Antonias Line" trailer for the Boxcar Bertha pre-show Outgoing/Shipping (content): Print/video Inspection: Re-inspected Taking Off after the screening and placed all reels back on their shipping reels/in their canisters (also reached out the necessary parties at DHL and NBC/Universal to schedule a pickup) Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Updated information for a few titles this upcoming week Maintenance/cleaning: Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Marquee updated?: Removed Taking Off and added letters for  Boxcar Bertha  to the 3
