NPP Projection Report 1/17 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: Inheritance private event in Th2 tonight. Very straightforward, just a short film screening on DCP with an intro before and a Q&A after. For spots, hit button #3 on the board. Same cue for the intro and the Q&A. Ran through the playlist today and it's all good.

Added the first run formulas to the cue sheet template, please use it for next week.

The roof hatch in booth 2 is secure.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: I ingested and scheduled everything needed for Th7 for the coming week. Since the connection to the TMS goes in and out, we have to use the IMS webpage to schedule. There is some sort of connection between the Th7 server and the TMS being maintained, though, as ingests automatically triggered from the TMS complete without a problem despite the server going on and offline on the TMS page. You can also use the ingest scan function on the IMS page to ingest SPLs and CPLs from the TMS, Eclair, or other servers. When scheduling Th7, ingest any SPLs you need by scanning the TMS from the IMS webpage and filter for Show Playlists. Any missing content should then ingest automatically.

Also remember to ingest KDMs to Th7 directly via the IMS webpage. There's an upload function in the Ingest Manager. You'll have to unzip the keys for the upload to work, and you can either look through all the keys for the ones with the serial number 315690, or simply upload all the keys from the zip file to Th7 (in which case most will fail to ingest as they are not made for the server, but the ones for Th7 will ingest successfully). I ingested new keys for American Fiction and Zone of Interest today.

Special Events/ AV set up: No live intro for All Dirt Roads this weekend, but possibly a video one.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Reinspected Beautician, printed out the return labels and scheduled a pickup for tomorrow.

Printed out labels for the Mean Streets return as well, this is on the cart for pickup tomorrow with Beautician.

Deleted a bunch of stuff off the TMS and servers, we still had Killers of the Flower Moon, Maestro, Color Purple, Anatomy of a Fall, and a bunch of old rep titles knocking around. Remember to get rid of this stuff after last shows so servers don't get too full.

Print/video Inspection: Finished inspecting Taxi Driver, still in decent shape, some roughness at heads/tails and the odd-numbered reels have more base scratches than the even numbered ones, like it was run reel-to-reel with one projector that was scratching it. These shouldn't really be visible when projected, though. Pics on the drive.

Put Live Wire on house reels.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
