NPP Projection Report 1/20 Open
To do this evening/ was completed: T7 server is holding up, since it's remaining on (the issue we were having with it was that it would often simply power itself down 30 minutes after turning on, but luckily this didn't happen after the updates yesterday) we should not have any more issues until we get an IMS3 to replace the current server in there. No more appearing offline every few seconds on the TMS. Schedules are still not showing up on the TMS, but if you drag and drop the playlist you want to schedule in the TMS schedule as normal for Th7, the playlist will get scheduled despite not appearing on the TMS schedule. You can confirm on the IMS webpage. Same goes for Th2 and Th3.
FYI -- I ordered us some new earpieces for the walkie, 6 total so we can each have our own plus a spare. The one with my name on isn't working well, and Jack's has something loose in the earpiece which rattles around so it'll probably stop working soon, too. The ones I ordered should also be more comfortable to wear for an extended period of time.
Presentation Issues: The T6 Iron Claw and American Fiction playlists had the same problem as the T4 versions, DCP_ShowEnd pack was in place of the trailer pack in the playlist builder (but the playlist did not play this way, it just played as though the trailer pack was missing). MOD radioed me that the feature for the 4:15 American Fiction in T6 started early and the lights were still on (I checked the T4 playlists this morning but not the T6 ones). Ultimately just turned the house lights off. American Fiction plays again for the next round in T6 so please keep your eye on this, make sure the trailers are there on the playback page. I ended up just double checking every first run playlist though so we should be fine. Not sure what caused this for just the T4 and T6 playlists, especially since Jack noted the Iron Claw playlist played normally, with trailers, in T4 for the first two rounds yesterday. I don't think anyone built the playlists this way because when I opened playback on the T6 server webpage the DCP_ShowEnd pack was at the end of the playlists, there was just no trailer pack. I have seen playlist packs randomly disappear from servers so that's probably what happened but it is odd that it was from two servers at (probably) the same time. Please just pay special attention to playlists in 4&6 especially if they're American Fiction or Iron Claw.
Preshow Clips/Playlist: The Taxi Driver playlist was missing the "Nitehawk Presents" slide, downloaded/ingested it and added it to the playlist before the preshow got started.
Trailer Updates:
Special Events/ AV set up: Taxi Driver went very well. Changeover cues are quite close to the ends of the reels (10 frames) so don't hesitate hitting the button. Rewound all the reels and cleaned the projectors for tomorrow. Reminder that an extra screening date was added for this movie on Thursday evening so don't pack it up after tomorrow's show.
Put the football game on in Trees, change over to channel 505 for the game at 8pm.
