Projection 1/15

To do this evening/ was completed: Projection please note that, earlier today, Matthew sent out an email detailing new initiatives for the cue sheets/film bot in order to avoid overlap, tight turnarounds, and to generally just make things more accurate. Take your time reading through it as there's a lot of information. We should be getting the schedule this evening, so please read before scheduling anything. Tomorrow we have an important event with Barclays, hosted in both Trees and Theatre 2. I've emailed Jack and Alec some of the details, but will recap here in the SE/AV setup section. Jack, should you need anything before it starts, please feel free to text. 

There's an audio device in T2 at seat 2321 for the current Wonka screening. There was some confusion about this since I was first told it was a captiview, then headphones, then the guest asked if I could transfer to VI-N, which I switched to. But after, I didn't realize that when she was trying to turn up the volume, she would accidentally turn it off, so she said it wasn't working. I thought something might be off with the receiver, but there's nothing wrong, she just turned it off by accident. This did happen during the movie, but not far into it. We still gave out passes to the patron. 

Presentation Issues: 

Adjusted the volume in the Mean Girls playlists since we're getting pretty sizable crowds with requests to raise it. The dialogue is a lot softer than the musical numbers. 

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Tech'd Angel Heart in T2 this morning. Adjusted volume in the playlist. 

Made the playlist for Taxi Driver with a note that we still need the slide. 
Playlist is not yet built for All Dirt Roads Taste of Salt. Waiting on the raven jackson vid/intro slide. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: In preparation for the event tomorrow, I setup the transmitter in T2 for the hdmi connection. This was initially rocky and I couldn't figure out why until I adjusted the BluRay Flat Zoom preset settings for hdmi connection to DVI-A, which works beautifully. I took the DVI from T1 and put it in T2. The transmitter and hdmi cable is ready to go, coiled up with both adapters next to it on top of the supplies bin. The bluetooth remote for the presentation is charging in 4/6, but as per my email, if it proves to be tricky with this tomorrow, they can advance manually. Four chairs/ wireless mics will be needed. 

For the TVs in Trees, the video of the slide is ready to go and has been tested. Just use the apple tv remote to scroll down to select the library titled Trees Event 1/16/24. 

The DCP of Don't Tell Her It's Me is finishing in T1. It should be done very soon. Please transfer to the DCPII drive and ingest to the T1 projector. Thank you! 

Thank you to Desmond for pointing out that, this upcoming weekend, there's an intro in T4 during a print in T1 (taxi driver/all dirt roads). We're gonna go over the procedures for advancing the playlist on Friday so Desmond can do it himself. Desmond will not be doing the intro, it is someone else.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received new keys for American Fiction. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Made and attached the outbound labels for The Mission, which will get picked up tomorrow morning. Print is on the black cart.
