Projection Admin 1/14



To do this evening/ was completed: Screening of The Mission went well today in T1 despite really keeping me on my feet the whole time. Crowd had a lot of fun. I'm going to make some adjustments to P2 on Monday to check in with the alignments. I think we need to adjust the turret again. Also - did anyone make any adjustments to the spots board? The sequence for centre spots did not work this morning, much to my surprise. I'll run through these and reset anything come Monday morning.

Special Events/ AV set up: The DCP for Don't Tell Her It's Me didn't properly finish because of space. I cleared the comp and started a new DCP. Should be done by tomorrow evening. 

Touched base with Chenelle about the private on Tuesday. I'll be testing the setup Monday morning so that it's ready to go for Tuesday morn. She's not sure what adapter they'll need, but we'll have both out. Also, I'll send out a reminder about the early start time. Got the company slide for the TVs in Trees - another thing I'll test Monday morn.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
