Projection Admin 1/25



To do this evening/ was completed:  Checked T2, 3 and 7 servers independently to make sure the schedule/sheets are sound for today. There's two manual starts in T3, so just keep an eye out for those. 

Desmond will be bringing over a fresh drive for Nitehawk Shorts tomorrow. We'll have loads of space to put content! 

Paddington 2 re-ingested to T6.

Ran loops for Taxi Driver, framing and focus set, projectors cleaned afterward.

Live Wire letters down, Deer Hunter up.

Downloaded and ingested NSF 24 content: Haircare and Palm Sunday ingested to TMS. DCP for Foot Trouble in the works in 4/6.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Quite a few keys opening up tomorrow/teching with Cristina. Checked to make sure both features we're teching tomorrow have been transferred to their respective theatres. Raging Bull keys don't go live until midnight 1/27 morning so the feature will have to be looked at Friday night or Saturday morning.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Continued downloading/ingesting shorts for NH shorts. Flagged Desmond about an issue with one DCP - they're working on it!

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received Streets of Fire - directly ingested this to T2. 
Received The Fan from Sony, it's been inspected. Print is in really nice condition. Stills uploaded to Drive.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Printed out the labels for Live Wire. It's on the cart in the kitchen. This will get picked up today. 

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes. Updated today to reflect changes. 

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Adjusted a few elements on the cue sheets, including Hudson's Birthday info.

Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
