Projection Admin 1/29

To do this evening/ was completed: Gonna be a quick day! Please keep downloading, organizing, and ingesting all the Nitehawk shorts you're responsible for, and please remember to update the asset sheet as soon as you complete each task. Thanks! 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Added another minute to the playlist for The Fan to make the timing more spot on. Checked the Deer Hunter playlist. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: The event memo for 32 Sounds has been filled out. The host will run the event using their laptop. I built the playlist for this. I added the spotlight info to the memo. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received more/new Dune II posters. Stored in 3/7. 

Ordering/Receiving (content): At some point tomorrow, we're to receive the exhibition files for the HBOxNewFest screening. My Aspera account is up and open (in my google profile the login info is saved in case you get locked out, but the pw is also available on a white card by the 4/6 comp (Alec will also be here tomorrow and they should be sending this to his email, too). We're also supposed to be receiving trailers this evening. I'll forward any updates. 

Ingested keys for Iron Claw, American Fiction & Wonka. 
First round of keys for Argylle should come in this Wednesday. 

Sense and Sensibility is a Sony courier, so it will probably get here by Thursday. John is looking into this for us so we can get an update. 

Continued downloading and ingesting Nitehawk Shorts - the new file for Dilating downloaded and ingested just fine. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Reached out to Sony to see if we can lock in a pickup for Tuesday to get Taxi Driver and The Fan outta here. 

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes. Updated today with Curse of the Cat People tracking. 

Maintenance/cleaning: Changed lenses/plates and ran loops in T1 for tonight's screening of The Fan. 

I organized the new earpiece sets we got. Each projectionist has their own earpiece (all of which I put together) stored inside a clear plastic bag that has a first name and last initial. The earpiece sets come with extra attachments, so feel free to play with those if you want. The extra bits are in each box (I also labeled these w/names). All earpiece sets are in an open box on the black book shelf. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. Checked alongside the TMS. Initials entered. Got the credits info for Deer Hunter. Tuesday sheet updated. 
I made a new cue sheet for 2/2 - 2/8, but this will need to be updated with more first run formulas as we're getting Oppenheimer/Barbie/Boy and Heron back for a minute. Argylle comes out this week, too.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
